The Kairos Blanket Exercise

We entered into the second year of a partnership with the Mary Ward Centre and the Kairos Organization to bring to our students the Kairos Blanket Exercise. What the Kairos Blanket Exercise does is teach students Canadian History from an Indigenous perspective. Every Wednesday until the end of May, students from grades 4-12, across the Board will have the opportunity to participate in this day of learning and reflection.

We are pleased to have with us Elder Bob Phillips to guide our learning. We thank St. Joseph's College Wellesley and Mr. Paul Sabayan's Grade 9 Visual Arts class for being the first participants in this project. We are looking forward to meeting you all as the year progresses.

Here is the brochure and link to learn more about The Kairos Blanket Exercise.
