The Toronto Educators Association for Mathematics (TEAMS) is a chapter of the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME).  Each spring, TEAMS hosts their annual Mathematics Olympics for students in grades 7 & 8.  Students actively engage in individual, pairs and small group mathematics challenges with others from various schools in the TCDSB and TDSB. 
Students who compete in this event must be registered by their home school.

University of Waterloo Mathematics Contests

The Centre For Education in Mathematics and Computing at the University of Waterloo provides students with ​an opportunity to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem solving ability.  Past contests and solutions are available to be downloaded.
  • Pascal Contest (Grade 9 and below)
  • Cayley Contest (Grade 10 and below))
  • Fermat Contest (Grade 11 and below) 
  • Euclid Contest (Grade 12) 
The following contests provide an opportunity  to have fun with math and develop mathematical problem solving skills through a written mathematical activity.   Past contests and solutions are available to be downloaded.
  • Fryer Contest (Grade 9 or below)
  • Galois Contest (Grade 10 or below)
  • Hypatia Contest (Grade 11 or below) 
 Students must be registered for these contests by their school.
