When Something’s Wrong:  a resource for parents

Many chapters of this book are available as a free download.  Provides a brief description of mental health problems, as well as strategies for classroom.


The ABC’s of Mental Health:  Grade jk-12

This parent resource helps parents understand what is developmentally appropriate in the area of children and youth behavior and mental health.  It offers suggestions for when further help may be needed, and helpful tips for strategies within the home

The Psychology Foundation of Canada: JK-Gr. 12 

The Psychology Foundation of Canada is a non-profit organization offering excellent parent and school resources focused on stress reduction. Resources are available for parents to better understand and cope with their own stress and the stress their children may experience.

People for Education: JK- Gr. 12

This informative website for and by parents offers helpful tips and resources to assit families in navigating their child's education.  This 3 minute video offers an easy to understand message on how we can support our children's education and well-being.
