It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage, the entire cast & crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan!
A hilarious journey for both performers and the audience, the original Broadway production garnered 8 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
 
 
Performance Dates: April 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 2018
 
Place: In the theatre at Cardinal Carter Academy of the Arts.

 Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, Staff Arts had to cancel the Saturday April 14
Performance of Curtains. Patrons who held tickets for April 14 may contact us to arrange to exchange their tickets for a future performance.

Comedy "Shakespeare on The Green"  

 

Shakespeare’s classics are revamped into fun, accessible shorts that use comedic narration and modern language. From a lesson in Shakespearean tragedy through the plight of King Lear to an error machine that calculates the miscommunications in Comedy of Errors, these flexible plays will provide a fun night of tales from the Bard, with some twists.
