ICFF Youth 2021: Indigenous Film Series

ICFF Youth Film Fesitval: Indigenous Film Series February 16 - March 12, 2021
​The Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF) is pleased to present the 9th edition of ICFF Youth, an all-new digital cinema program for TCDSB elementary and secondary school students from February 16th - March 12th, 2021. 

The program is offered free-of-charge thanks to a partnership with the TCDSB; and is funded by the Federal Government of Canada in the Ministry of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth through the Multiculturalism Program.

ICFF Youth 2021

ICFF Youth will feature three international films that focus on the study of Indigenous Culture, while also having a strong emphasis on French Language Studies and Italian Language Studies. 

This program highlights the importance of Indigenous Culture and the ways in which their values are expressed, whether it be through art, music, clothing or beliefs. The ICFF Youth Indigenous Film Series will include engaging content for students prior to the screening of the film from respected members of Indigenous communities.

Cost: Free

Subject of Focus: Social Studies - Indigenous Culture, Social Sciences and Humanities (Grade 9-12) and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Studies (Grade 9-12)

Language of Focus: French and Italian Language Studies
