Field Trip:  Toronto ZOO

On Wednesday October 10th, 2018 the grade 11 University and College Biology classes will be visiting the Toronto ZOO.  Students will be given an assignment to complete at the Toronto ZOO that covers topics in the Diversity of Living Things unit.  The purpose of the assignment is to allow students to learn about the physiological and anatomical adaptations of the organisms in the Animal Kingdom.


Classes will travel by school bus.

Departure time:  9:00am
Return time: (Approximately) 3:00pm

Students are to arrive for the normal school day, beginning at 8:30am and report to period 1 class, where attendance will be taken.
Students may wear civvies clothes, however, it is the student's responsibility to come dressed appropriately for the weather (dress in layers) as the program takes place outdoors.  Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Students have to option of bringing their own bagged lunch, snacks and drinks or they may buy food at the cafeteria facilities on-site.  A water bottle is also recommended. 
Students are to remain at Toronto ZOO premises for the duration fo the trip.  No one will be allowed to leave the premises.
