Field Trip:  Kortright Conservation Centre

On Thursday October 17th, 2019 the grade 9 science classes will be visiting the Kortright Conservation Centre in Woodbridge.  This is an important trip for experiential learning that contributes to the course curriculum in the ecology unit.  Classes will participating in programs titled "Habitat Analysis" and "Aquatic Ecosystems".  

Classes will travel by school bus.
Departure time:  9:00am
Return time: (Approximately) 2:30pm

Students are to arrive for the normal school day, beginning at 8:30am and report to period 1 class, where attendance will be taken.
Students may wear civvies clothes, however, it is the student's responsibility to come dressed appropriately for the weather (dress in layers) as the program takes place outdoors.

There is NO Cafeteria service at Kortright.  Students are expected to bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks, plus a water bottle for the day.  

Students are to remain at Kortright for the duration fo the trip and will not be allowed to leave the premises.
