Northern Spirit Games
On February 28, 2017 Mr. Mogavero's grade 4/5 class travelled to St. John Paul II C.S.S. to participate in the 12th annual Northern Spirit Games. Since 2002 over 22,000 students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 have participated in these annual athletic, cultural and spiritual celebrations that take place at a number TCDSB sites. The students are taught ten indoor and outdoor activities based on traditional First Nations, Métis and Inuit games, which focus on physical strength, agility and endurance.
