ROM TRIP
On Tuesday November 29th the Grade 4/5, Grade 6 and Grade 7/8 classes went on a trip to the Royal Ontario Museum. At the ROM we received a guided tour on the histry Inuit people. We learned many things about the uloo, about the difference between parkas for men and women, we also learned about the Inuit kayak and what they hunted in the kayak.
After our guided on the Inuit we explored the rocks and mineral collection at the ROM as well as the museum's collection of medieval armour collection, the Ancient Egyptian exhibit. We also had the opportunity to explore some of the fossils and dinosaur skeletons at the museum!!!
