St. Rene Goupil Faith Day
On May 7th, the St. Rene Goupil community participated in Faith Day Activities to launch the start of Catholic Education Week. The grade 7 students were team captains leading the younger students through 9 stations all about our focus on the theme of Renewing the Promise.
Students are making lanterns to represent the Bible verse about being the light of the world and to let their own light shine. 
In this photo, students are learning about Christian meditation. A grade 7 student is leading the group and instructing students to be still during this time to allow for communication with the Lord. Before officially beginning the meditation, students repeat the word "Maranatha" (Aramaic for Come, Lord Jesus).
