The religious education program at Bishop Allen Academy is designed to give a broad overview of important elements in the Catholic faith. Topics covered over four years, from scripture to sacraments to ethics to world religions, ground students in a Catholic world view. Catholic education is not confined to intellectual formation alone but to a student's emotional and spiritual growth as well. Students participate in a retreat experiences in each of the four years of religious study. In the past students have assisted at the Daily Bread Food Bank, visited the houses of worship of a variety of different religious traditions, and have been involved in developing faith activities for younger children assisting with the children's liturgy as an outreach project.
