Skills 2018 Competition at Blessed Cardinal Newman High School
On 8th March competitions were held in the three Skills areas of Fashion Design, Robotics and Control Systems and Coding. It marked the first time that Blessed Cardinal Newman has hosted the TCDSB Coding and The Robotics and Control Systems competitions.
Grade 11 student, Rachel Santiago, won the Fashion Design and will represent
the TCDSB at the Skills Ontario Competition.

The two man team of Denzel Sze and Michael Potal-Taylor, both grade 12 students, won the Robotics and Control Systems competition and will move on to the Skills Ontario event.

Michael Pereira, was successful in the Coding competition and will also compete as the TCDSB representative in Skills Ontario.
