Toronto Catholic District School Board

Students Walk for Autism
The Toronto Catholic District School Board is proud to participate in Autism Awareness on April 2nd. The Board is encouraging students to wear blue for the day in a show of support, and secondary schools will be raising a blue flag on that day.
At Blessed Margherita of Citta Di Castello Catholic School in North York, students are showing their support by walking for Autism Awareness. The walk takes place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd around the neighbourhood surrounding the school, located at 108 Spenvalley Drive. They hope to make this an annual event.
Three hundred and eighteen students, wearing blue, will be participating in the walk, led by some of the students with special needs. Half of the money raised from the walk will be directed to the Angel Foundation for Learning to support the participation of students with Autism in camp programs. The remainder of the money will go to support resources and aids for students at the school.
