STEAM at Brebeuf is an engaging programme for students who want to gain expertise in valuable 21st Century skills through a specialized cohorted enriched curriculum in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Brebeuf’s STEAM programme is designed to develop innovative thinking skills to prepare students to prosper in an ever-progressing, technologically complex modern economy. Through hands-on real-world learning experiences, students acquire transferable and high-demand skills that develop 21st Century competencies, such as critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and communication. Our STEAM programme encourages students to be well rounded competitors while pursuing their personal interests and maximizing on their post secondary potential. STEAM students have a competitive advantage through fast tracking in courses and acquiring Advanced Placement credits as early as grade 11 in Math (AB & BC), Science, Computer Science (A), and English. STEAM students have many enrichment opportunities presented throughout high school, including specialty trips, projects, industry and university partnership programmes, university contests, and exclusive STEAM contests.

Applicants must write a screening test on
Thursday, November 5th, 2020, 3:45 p.m.
Final Acceptance Criteria:
- Questionnaire/Self-Reflection
- Grade 7 Report Card (Term 1 & 2)
- Grade 6 EQAO Assessment
- CAT-4 Assessment (if applicable)
- School Referral
- Brebeuf Screening Test (based on Grade 7 Curriculum)
