The Toronto Catholic District School Board congratulates Kevin Angulo, a grade 12 student at Chaminade College School in North York. He is the recipient of a soccer scholarship with the University of Pittsburgh.
The school hosted a signing ceremony on Tuesday, February 18th.
“Kevin is an extremely dedicated, hard working and loyal student and athlete,” says Richard Surbek, Junior Soccer Coach, Chaminade Gryphons. “He set goals for himself and then takes the initiative to do everything possible to achieve those goals; and always with a smile on his face.”
Kevin is a member of Team Ontario's Bronze medal winning soccer team that competed at the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He was also a member of Chaminade's 2011/2012 TDCAA championship junior soccer team, a three-time member of Chaminade's TDCAA championship Track and Field teams (2011, 2012, 2013), an OFSAA gold medalist in junior 4 X 100 metre relay (2012) and a member of Chaminade's Leadership Team (2012/2013).
Kevin plans to study communications in the fall.
