Dress Code at Christ the King
 
The dress code reflects the Board-wide appropriate dress code:
 

Consisting of any combination of navy blue and white garments (i.e., solid white plain top, solid navy blue plain bottom or solid navy blue plain top and bottom; no denim

Where a skirt or shorts are chosen, keeping in mind the principle of modesty, the acceptable length of the hemline shall be no less than the tip of the child’s fingers when the arms are extended straight down at the side. 

 

There will also be a review in preparation for the merger of Christ the King and St. Teresa schools. The periodic review shall include a process for consultation with students, teachers, and staff working in the schools, parents and guardians and the school council.

Dress Code in TCDSB Schools

 
All Elementary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt an Appropriate Dress Code or Uniform Dress Code.

All Secondary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt a Uniform Dress Code.
 
Parents are encouraged to review the local dress code at their child’s school and to direct their questions to the principal of the school.
