Autism Day at D'Arcy: April 21

A beautiful blue glow greeted visitors at our foyer on Thursday April 21, and the blue clothing everywhere signified our support for all autistic students in the TCDSB. Later in the afternoon in the cafetorium, we all cheered to hear the excellent piano performance of William, a PAST program student of Mrs. Cousineau playing the full version of Beethoven's Fur Elise.

Junior W5H team wins the Divisional Pennant!

After several years of dedicated perseverance, the D'Arcy McGee Junior W5H team won the Divisional Pennant. With excellent new team members, we are sure of more successes to come.

This team was strong throughout the tournament winning some games by a wide margin. They understood what being a team meant, contributing their expertise generously and encouraging each other to do well. This happy group goes to Blessed Margherita on Wednesday, February 24 for the Regional Finals and we wish them every success...

...At Blessed Margherita:

The final game was played against Our Lady of Wisdom. The team decided most charitably to make sure everyone had a turn and brought in new players at substitution time. They went on to a second place finish, missing the gold medal by 2 points! Everyone was so proud of their charity and excellence.

Silver Medallists!
