Former Henry Carr basketball players, Dillon Brooks & Jalen Poyser, are pivotal members of Canada's National Team Program.

This morning, Dillon Brooks scored 28 points to lead Team Canada in a 77-44 drubbing of a solid Italian team.  With the victory, Canada takes 5th Place at the FIBA Under 19 World Championships.
Dillon finished the 2015 FIBA Under 19 World Championships at #2 in scoring with an 18.8 points/game on a 46.5% field goal percentage, with 6.2 rebounds & 2.7 assists per game. Last summer he led the FIBA Americas Under 18 Championship at 25.2 points/game!
We are very proud of the entire team; but Coach Melnik, Henry Carr & the TCDSB are especially proud of Dillon, a sophomore at the University of Oregon & his Crusader teammate, Jalen Poyser, a freshman at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
