Father Henry Carr’s runners returned with an OFSAA Sr. Boys’ Team Championship Banner by winning 5 medals:  4 gold and 1 bronze, breaking 2 OSAA and 1 Canadian record, at the Ontario High School Track and Field championships in Windsor June 2 to 4.
More than 4,000 student athletes from 691 Ontario high schools converged on the University of Windsor campus to compete in the 2016 OFSAA Track & Field Championships.
 
KHAMAL STEWART-BAYNES was the 'MOST OUTSTANDING ATHLETE', capturing 3 Gold medals in the Sr. Boys 200M, 400M & anchoring the 4 x 100M Relay team.  Khamal broke the OFSAA record in the 400M & played a major role in HENRY CARR's sprint relay team of VISHON HUSBANDS, AARON HECTOR, TREJUAN FEARON, not only breaking another OFSAA, but a CANADIAN RECORD, a record not touched in the past 28 years.
 
AARON HECTOR, won the Sr. Boys 100M Gold Medal and TREJUAN FEARON, competed well to finish 5th in the Province.
 
JAVON SHERIFF, MCHENRY ELUEHIKE, DANIEL NOEL & LEANDRO ACOSTA formed the Midget Boys 4 x 100M Relay team, which won the bronze medal.
 
*  Next year's OFSAA TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS have been awarded to BELLEVILLE, ONTARIO June 1-4, 2017.
