Carr Student Receives Bursary
from the Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club

Shae Linton-Brown was awarded a $1000 bursary from the Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club.  The award is in honour of Albert Kiwuyebi, who was killed a few years ago on his way home from work. It is given to a community member who is viewed as a positive role model who represents the community in a positive and progressive manner. Albert was Shae's "safe walker" when Shae began working with the Boys and Girls Club at 6 years of age. The Father Henry Carr community congratulates Shae for receiving this prestigious award.
