Business

Business, Computer and Technological activity affects the daily lives of all Canadians as they work, spend, save and invest. This, in turn, has a significant effect on the standard of living and quality of life of Canadians and on the environment in which they live and which future generations will inherit. Eventually, most students will encounter the world of business, whether they work in cities, towns, or rural areas. They must be prepared to engage in business activity with confidence and competence. Students need to understand how business functions, its role in our society, the opportunities it generates, the skills it requires, and the impact it can have on their lives and society, today and in the future.

The Business and computer studies program will build a strong foundation for those who wish to move on to further study and training in specialized areas such as management, international business, marketing, accounting, information technology, computer applications or entrepreneurship. It will also provide practical skills for those who wish to move directly into the world of business.

As Catholic business educators, we ensure that each course is designed to encompass and integrate a decision-making framework that is moral and ethically sound in light of gospel values.
