Community Involvement - 40 hours over the four years of high school |

The evaluation of student progress is continuous and ongoing. The forms of evaluation may include homework assignments, tests, essays, projects, lab work, oral reports, class participation, formal examinations.
Attendance at all required exams is mandatory and absences will result in zero unless a medical note is received by the school. Exams cannot be rescheduled to accommodate trips or family obligations.
Please refer to the School Calendar for this year which outlines information about Diploma requirements, courses and credits, programs offered at James Cardinal McGuigan, and other academic items.
Information from the most recent Calendar is available through the Student Services Department.
Mid-term reports will go out half way through each semester. Final reports will be available at the end of each semester. Parent-teacher interviews will be held several times during the school year after reports have been prepared. Exact dates will be announced.
Parents should contact the school at any time for information about a students academic performance or to discuss a student's progress and/or program.
