Me to We Workshop

On Tuesday December 10th, our grade 12 students took part in a ME to WE workshop, where they were inspired to identify and take action against the injustices embedded in our society.

They participated in icebreakers, debates, and open discussions and were encouraged to make connections between community social justice issues and their own lived experiences.

Our students discussed issues surrounding the eviction of hate or hunger, and ways of addressing issues pertaining to the rights/safety of women and children. Students were passionate when expressing their ideas, critically thinking and developing action plans, while furthering their understanding of their roles as Catholic leaders and global citizens.

Our JCM students were thankful for the opportunity and are looking forward to working with ME to WE again next semester!
