Expectations are organized into three strands that correspond to three major areas of studies in the Arts:

Visual Arts
Drama and Dance.
EXPECTATIONS
All classroom work and homework is to be completed within specific time limits. Homework assignments are to be completed daily. Special projects that require more time will be assigned on occasion. Parents are requested to ensure that homework is completed and returned on time. Student agendas need to be initialed (by the parent) and returned daily.
ASSESSMENT
The following will be assessed on a regular basis throughout the entire year:
daily writing: oral responses (detail, clarity, complexity)
running records: quizzes
behavior: weekly spelling tests
completion of homework: oral presentations
student projects: student participation
anecdotal records
SPECIAL REQUESTS
Please provide your child with a note whenever there is a change in his or her after school method of transportation
Students should dress appropriately for gym (i.e. running shoes). Students should be wearing the school uniform at all times
Please take into account that our school is a NUT FREE ZONE when sending in lunches, snacks and any special birthday treats
