It is our objective this year to provide an active, balanced and fun physical and health education program and to help your child appreciate and develop positive habits necessary to live an active healthy life.  We also strive to keep our students safe and you can assist us with this by helping your child to follow the expectations below:

  • Wear proper, non-marking running shoes (laces or velcro).  Students will not be permitted to wear sandals, flip flops, "crocs", dress shoes and boots.  Please make sure your child has a proper pair of indoor shoes for gym class
  • Wear comfortable clothing and please try to avoid wearing dresses, skirts or jeans on gym days
  • Keep long hair tied back for safety reasons
  • Inform me of any medical problems such as asthma, bone injuries, allergies, etc

Every student is required to participate in physical education class.  If your child is injured or unable to participate for medical reasons, please provide a written note.  Please assist us in reinforcing these expectations with your child.  It is important that your child participates actively and safely in our class activities.
