In preparation for the celebration of Easter, our grade 6 students in Mr. Diamanti and Mr. Del Giudice’s classes re-enact the stations of the cross, creating costumes and scenery to mirror the solemnity of the Passion of Jesus. The entire student body witnesses the condemnation, scourging and crucifixion; however, the final act in the performance is the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer with the belief in the resurrection. The moving nature of the performance is a credit to the students and teachers and a profound reflection on the final days of Jesus’ earthly life.
