 Health Concerns

Principals, teacHealth Concerns 1.jpghers, and support staff of the TCDSB are not permitted to administer any type of prescription medication during the school day, unless written authorization is granted by the parent and the prescribing doctor.  Special Service Medical Forms are available in the office and must be updated annually.  Staff members cannot administer non-prescription but can supervise your child taking medication.  All medication must be stored in the office.  Please ensure medication is clearly labeled and measured in single dose containers.  If your child is ill, we respectfully ask that they remain at home.  Sick children do not learn well and they can easily spread germs to others.  Children too ill to go outside for recess should be kept at home until they are able to fully partake in the school day.  Supervision is not available for sick children during recess time.
