Vocal Music Students on Salt and Light TV

Enjoy these recordings of the school choir, which will air nation-wide on Vision Television and Salt and Light Television next year on the Devotions to Our Lady of Perpetual Help programme.

This is a distinct honour; an accolade for our school as a Catholic Institution committed to the arts, and for the students who were involved.  Sharing our faith through the use of media is a further example of the expression of our "McLuhan-istic" mission.

We extend many many thanks to Fr. Thomas O’Rourke, director of Devotions TV, and to Dawn Deme, the Coordinating Producer for their expertise in facilitating this project.

Special recognition to Dr. Robin Williams, vocal music teacher, who has been working with these students since September.

Ave Maria - Victoria

On this Day, O Beautiful Mother

O Sanctissima - Beethoven

Salve Regina

Mary, Did you know?

Hail Mary: Gentle Woman

Ave Maria - Caccini

Choir to Perform on Television

Congratulations to the choir at Marshall McLuhan, who has been invited to perform up to seven hymnal pieces for  the Perpetual Help TV Deotions program which airs on Roman Catholic Television.  It is co-produced by the Redemptorists and Villagers media.  It airs on Vision TV and Salt and Light with 50,000 weekly viewers.  The opportunity came about as a result of the producer's prior work experience with teacher Robin Williams, who himself is a talented musician, as mentioned in a CBC piece that aired recently:
