  • A thank you once again to Adam, Solere, Eileen, and the student helpers representing the Angel Foundation for their continued work with the Student Nutrition Program.  It is an excellent opportunity to provide important nutrition to our students and staff!
  • Congratulations to the members of the Religion department who ran a very successful day for the Grade 9 Exams as well as the Grade 10 kick off. The same goes to the members of the Physical Education Department for the final assessment and then the kick off in the Gym! We appreciate your efforts!
  • We would like to thank Nadia and SAC for organizing all of the cake materials and arranging for a wonderful cake design competition! Thanks also to TA committee for lots of great activities that helped students learn more about Mary Ward, to Chaplaincy team for the morning reflections, and to all TA’s for the fantastic job in helping to celebrate Mary Ward’s Birthday.  Once again we were amazed by the creativity and hard work that went into all of the cake designs.  It is truly a special way to honor Mary Ward and it is wonderful to see the enthusiasm and bonding that is fostered by this event.  Well done!
  • In addition to the above, you may like to know that Sr. Evanne’s response to the above celebration was as follows, “Good to see Mary Ward alive and well. We IBVMs are so pleased that you and all the Mary Ward community appreciate and celebrate and promulgate the life and work of, as you say, this amazing woman. All the best to all at Mary Ward.”
  •  A big thank you to the WAD committee for all of their hard work in distributing and collecting registration forms and for organizing the Winter Activity Day.  A special thank you also to all of the teacher supervisors for your hard work in planning and running the events; the Mary Ward community is very grateful.
  • Lastly but certainly not least, thanks very much to the Steering Committee and all of our teachers and support staff for the work and preparation that has gone into Invigor8. We truly appreciate it all.
