Welcome to Week 38 (June 11-15)


Well, this is the last issue of Varia for the 2017-2018 school year!  It seems like it was just yesterday that the school year began!  Please refer to the Important Year-End Dates handout for the rest of the year's events.  


Reminders for the week:  

·       The exam supervision schedule was released on Thursday.  The FINAL exam supervision schedule will be put in your mailbox this week. Please read the schedule carefully and make note of your supervision duties.

·       Please send any dates for activities and events for next year to Kathleen.  The 2018-19 calendar will be available this week online.

  • Much thanks to Athletic Director Anna Sersanti for organizing the Athletic Banquet this week.  Thanks in advance, as well, to everyone who helped with this event along with all of the coacheswho plan to celebrate and honour their teams and their MVPs and MIPs.  Congratulations to all the student athletes who will be honoured at the event!
  • Thank you to all the team coaches and club and committee moderators for giving of your time to provide our students with another incredible year of exciting events, games, tournaments, and activities, and for supporting numerous charities and social justice causes.  We truly appreciate your contributions to the life of the school!
  • All our thanks to all those who helped out with the Test Centre in these last hectic days, especiallyMaria M., Angela B., Imelda, Antonella, and all of the IA’s who assisted. Thanks also to the teachers who responded to calls for assistance from their test-writing students. We appreciate it!
  • Thank you to Antonella who single-handedly completed the year as our lone supervisor of students. What a huge responsibility! Thank you for handling the job with grace and dignity!  Enjoy your holidays, and thank you for dealing with all the Mary Ward craziness!​
