Welcome to Week 37 (June 4-8)

As we continue into the month of June, let us reflect on the Virtue of the Month: Faithfulness

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move.  Matthew 17:20

Kudos:

  • Huge thanks to all staff involved in planning for the Loretto Sisters Global Experience visit to Mary Ward! It was a wonderful experience for both visitors and our students at this time of the year!
  • A huge congratulations to all of the staff and students who participated in the Special Needs Mini-Olympics.  We are so proud of the participation of our students and thank all the staff who were involved in giving their time and efforts to this great event!
  • For Asian Heritage Month, our heart-felt thanks to Lucy, Kara, Adam, Maureen, Anna S., S. Mak, Kitty, JP, Mike C., Sheri, John N., and Mary-Lynn for spearheading various kinds of activities in support of this month-long celebration! Considering the positive feedbacks we have been receiving, further ideas are already brewing for next year’s Asian Heritage Month celebration!
  • A big congratulations to Ryan K, Anna, Meghan, Patrick, Phil, and Keith on a very successful Wolverine Run on Friday!  As usual, a well-run school event that always adds to school spirit as an exciting Mary Ward tradition!
  • Thanks also to the Social Committee for organizing a pizza/ice-cream lunch when colleagues can socialize and break bread together!
