Welcome to Week 30 (April 15-19)
Welcome to week 30! With the celebration of Palm Sunday, we enter Holy Week, a time for peace, reflection, and prayer. May you and your families be blessed with love and happiness, and be filled with the joy Christ offers in his resurrection.
We would like to welcome back Joanna Torossian, Department Head of Special Education. As well, welcome to Patrine Johnson who is doing an LTA for Patricia Bateler in English.
Reminders for the week:
·       Students on the trip to France depart April 17 and return April 26. Bon Voyage!
·       Report Cards will be distributed on Monday, April 15. Please make every effort to receive the acknowledgement form from parents indicating they have seen the most recent Report Card.
·       Friday, April 19 is Good Friday

·       Thank you to everyone for your tireless work in conducting Super TA meetings. Your continued efforts do not go unnoticed! These meetings are so important in supporting our students and helping them get to that finish line.
·       Congratulations to the badminton team for capturing the bronze medal in the Varsity Badminton Championship Finals! Thank you to coaches Kennedy, Mackay, Largo, and Tbajanjian for supporting our athletes in their development and successes.
·       Thank you all for working so hard to complete this recent Reporting Cycle in a timely manner. Special thank you to our office staff who addressed any changes and who oversaw the putting together of the packaging in anticipation of Monday’s distribution.
·       Thank you to everyone involved in organizing the International Day of Pink. The Ward community showed a united front in celebrating diversity and raising awareness to stop all forms of bullying.
·       Thank you to Sersanti, Harrison, Sahlani, and the PLF Leadership students for hosting a very successful Jr. Boys’ volleyball tournament here last Friday.
·       Thank you to all Department Heads and LSSAC who have been working hard to work with the Form 106 and tentative staffing model.
