  • None this week

  • Last week’s Honor Roll Breakfast was wonderful!  The Honor Roll Breakfast was just a fantastic time to celebrate our student accomplishments and let these high performing students just take a well-deserved pause in their day.  Many thanks to Keenan, Raymond, Chau, and the Tech crew for their work in organizing, setting up, and just ensuring the morning went smoothly.  Thanks to Gassi, Adourian, and other teacher colleagues for introducing the video and giving the pins out, the Yearbook team for taking the photos, all the Teacher Advisors for calculating honor roll qualifications, to Paulette for all the work that went into preparations in advance, and to those staff members who were able to drop by and participate in the breakfast festivities.  Very well done!
  • A big thank you to Coleman, Maljian, Raymond and the group of students volunteers for all of their hard work in ensuring the success of our Student Nutrition Program.  We would like to recognize all of the hard work and effort that goes into this wonderful program and know that all of our students will benefit greatly from this healthy initiative!
  • Congratulations and thanks go out to Tuccitto, Chau and the Tech Crew and Drama students for once again, providing an amazing Remembrance Day assembly on Friday.  The assembly always captures the very essence of this important day.  Special thanks to Comier and her vocal music students and De Silva for helping with making the wreath! Thanks to everyone involved!
  • A special thanks to our staff in the Test Center comprised of Maria, Angela, Imelda, Antonella, and Dan-Lee for their hard work in ensuring a smooth Carryover Exam Day.  We greatly appreciate your help!
  • Thanks to our Guidance Department – Burley, R. Wong, Zabana for their great work at the annual College/University Fair and Parent Info session. A great turnout was had and they helped get parents and guardians thinking about important decisions.

Tips of the Week.jpg

TA Tip(s) of the week

Conditional Zero's catchy tunes get the students motivated to submit units at conditional zero target dates, but what else can we do to help motivate our advisees?

One way to motivate students is a unit submission challenge. You can challenge another TA or do a challenge within your own TA. For example, Ms. Weathers TA and Ms. Hayes TA battled it out to see who could submit the most amount of units for the month of December last year (they were both in English department then)! The winning TA gets a prize and bragging rights.

Have a great week, everyone!
