Assessment is the process of gathering information from a variety of sources, such as assignments, demonstrations, projects, performance tasks and tests that accurately reflect how well a student is achieving the curriculum expectations in a course.
Evaluation refers to the process of judging the quality of student work on the basis of established criteria and assigning a percentage grade.
Students are expected to complete all missed course work and assessments or evaluations, even as a result of a medical absence or other school related absence.
