Apprenticeship Subject Pathways
Apprenticeship Subject Pathways will assist students and parents to determine which
English, Mathematics and Science courses would be most beneficial for the apprenticeship pathway after graduation. These pathways were developed by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, with the learning expectations that are outlined in the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum policy documents for English, Mathematics and Science.

How do I become an Apprentice
When a student wants to be an apprentice, and has found a training sponsor or employer willig to engage in apprenticeship training, either the student or the training sponsor or employer must contact the local apprenticeship office. A training consultant will arrange a meeting at the workplace to assess the ability of the training sponsor or employer to train, assess the person, prepare the training agreement or contract and initiate the training.
