APPLICATION PROCESS:
 
Applications for this special program can be submitted on gr. 8 registration night, which is scheduled for MARCH 2, 2017. If you are on the waitlist at registration time, you can drop off in the Guidance Department.
 
Applications will be reviewed by a committee of teachers, department heads and administration. Space is limited and the program is competitive. The committee will also consider report card data and provincial testing scores in their selections. Notification regarding program acceptance will be sent by mail in mid-June.

MSE COURSE PATHWAY
 
Students will be monitored regularly and are expected to maintain a minimum of 75% in their MSE subjects. Placements will be reviewed and modified to ensure student success.

The remainder of the course selections in Grade 11 will depend on the student’s interests and desired field of study. Many MSE students opt into one of our Specialist High Skills Major programs (Health & Wellness, Non Profit, Tech Design) which offer specialized training and knowledge in preparation for postsecondary goals.
