Vocal music is offered to all students in grades JK to grade 6. Students are encouraged to deepen their appreciation of music through performing, listening to, and moving to a wide variety of music. Each year students in grade JK to grade three perform a musical extravaganza at Christmas time. Older students have a chance to shine on stage with a Spring concert.
Students in grades 6 to 8 have a unique opportunity to learn to play one of the string family of instruments in the orchestra. Violin, viola, cello and bass are offered. The students perform several times throughout the year.
