Ms. Runca's Class and the Pumpkin Patch

After a fun morning of baking Apple Crisp, we decided to go on a walk in our neighbourhood.  It was a beautiful sunny and crisp afternoon.  We set off and walked toward a “Pumpkin Patch” in the city.  It wasn’t easy to choose two pumpkins, but eventually we found two perfect pumpkins for our classroom.  We bought a cute tiny white pumpkin too! During our walk in our neighbourhood we saw three fire hydrants, yellow, orange, red, brown, and green Maple leaves, houses, apartments, bicycles, colourful Fall vegetables called Squashes and lots of people too.  When we returned to our classroom, we drew pictures of what we saw and shared our illustrations with each other using our Author’s Chair.
