Bianca Andreescu Spirit Day at OLPH

 
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School celebrated Bianca Andreescu Spirit Day on September 13th in honour of  her outstanding accomplishment at the US Open.
The day was filled with tennis-related activities, including trivia and skills building activities.  Students were dressed in a sea of tennis gear and/or red and white.
 
Carl Hale, director of the Rogers Cup was a guest speaker at the event. The school also received a special thank you video from Bianca Andreescu. Watch the video here: https://twitter.com/i/status/1173223864790323205
 
Tennis Canada also generously donated a number of rackets and tennis balls for the event.  The rackets and balls will be later donated to neighbouring schools.  
 
It was a great spirit day and the community is grateful to all partners and sponsors for their generosity and support.
