Heidi Collins, professional jump roper from the Toronto Jump Rope Academy had students jumping single rope, double dutch, speed training, long rope, and involved in precision routines. Heidi's incredibly interactive jump rope workshop modelled an emphasis on keeping fit and establishing a healthy, happy lifestyle.
Students in grades 4-8 enjoyed the day with an added realization that jump roping is an exercise that can be an easy, fun, and effective low impact alternative to jogging and running.
