Toronto Catholic District School Board

Students have fun with making bubbles at St. Andrew School.  On Friday, November 22nd, the Grade 2 classes had the Scientist in the School work with the students on solids and liquids.  Students discovered if a substance was a mixture or a solution. They made bubbles but making their own solution (mixing water, corn syrup and dish soap). Finally, they made predictions and did experiments about whether an object would sink or float.
