Toronto Catholic District School Board

Our Third Annual Cultural Christmas

a-very-cultural-christmas.jpg
On Sunday, November 29, 2015, the Catholic School Parent Council will be having their annual multicultural Christmas celebration.   CSPC annual event will focus on traditions and celebrations of many cultures in our community. An event like this is a great opportunity for our community to meet one another and for our students to learn about other parts of the world.  If you plan to attend but are not able to provide a dish, you can also provide us with some history or stories from your country of origin.  This event will provide students and their families an opportunity to share and sample food and customs from different parts of the world.

We are asking our community members to bring in a nut free/shell fish free dish to share that is representative of their culture.  Families are encouraged to bring any traditional clothing or craft that you would like to share during our celebration.  In addition to great food and traditions there will be a visit from Santa.

The celebration will take place on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the gym.  All are welcome to attend this special celebration. This year we will also like to request a donation from those participating in our new Christmas Karaoke stage (registration day of). Monies will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society that is run from our St Philip Neri parish.

Download and print the PDF version of this invitation and return the bottom portion with your family name, number of guests and where your traditional dish is from in the world.
