Paul Marshall Shaves Head for Cancer Research

Paul is a grade two student at St. Edward Catholic School with a lot of courage. This is because for the second time in a row, Paul decided to shave his hair off for cancer research. Paul was brave enough to participate in this event to help all cancer patients because he thinks “cancer is bad and wants it to go away”. At his previous school, Paul shaved his hair off and was so excited about it he decided to bring it over to St. Edward. We are very lucky to have Paul Marshall at our school as he has encouraged and inspired many students to follow in his footsteps. On April 24th, our whole school gathered in our gymnasium to support Paul as he did the big shave. Also, Paul has been coming to classes every morning to collect coins for cancer research. In addition, his family has set up a website to allow for online donations. As of April 24th, Paul has raised over two thousand dollars online as well as $876.02 that Paul collected from St. Edward. This brings his total to over 3,000 dollars! At St. Edward we think Paul shows extreme compassion and dedication for what he believes in. This is truly an inspiration for the school.
