St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School opened its doors in the fall of 1976. It has often been described as a showplace of learning, blending very well with the flavour of the neighbourhood. The design is not only beautiful, it is functional.
The open area or atrium is most impressive.
The school continues the tradition of successfully serving children and their parents in the local area, due to the cooperative efforts of a team of supportive, enthusiastic and industrious people. Imitation of the strength exhibited by our patron saint, St. Elizabeth Seton is of paramount importance in all school activities.
St. Elizabeth Seton lived a full life. She was a poet, translator, teacher and musician. She was a wife, mother of five children, mother superior and principal. She woke up early, toiled diligently all day and went to bed late each night.
She founded the Sisters of Charity
Elizabeth Ann Seton was a remarkable woman, a powerful individual who believed in God's will--a treasure of the Church, a treasure of our school.
