Toronto Catholic District School Board

Bike Helmet Launch at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School

Over 525 students participated in a special bike safety assembly on April 3rd at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.

School Resource Officer, P.C. De Quintal and Toronto Police Services, together with the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, JRJ Personal Law Injury Firm, and Access Rehab promoted the importance of bike safety through a school assembly that included safety lectures on brain injuries and information on why we wear helmets. Following the assembly, students were surprised with 525 free bike helmets. The helmets were fitted and distributed to all 525 students. The helmet donation was made possible by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association’s Bike Helmet Giveaway Program.

The St. Francis Xavier community is grateful to Officer De Quintal and local partners of the Bike Helmet Giveaway Program for equipping our students with the tools they need to be safe.
