This page is dedicated to student leadership in the St. Joan of Arc community.

We believe that building compassionate, ethical, and confident leaders is a large part of our mandate as Catholic Educators, with our graduate leaders embodying all of the Catholic Graduate Expectations.

There are formal and informal opportunities for student leadership at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy.

Formally, students can run for election to the Student's Administrative Council, or they may be enrolled in our courses specifically designed to train new leaders.

Some of the initiatives include:

  • Partricipation in Camp Olympia Leadership Camp for aspiring leaders
  • Organizing and running Grade 9 orientation
  • Engaging with the parent community as student embassadors at school events
  • Visiting local schools as part of our local elementary partners
  • Leading school assemblies
  • Organizing and leading food drives and other charitable drives
  • Organizing the 40-Hour famine
  • Participating in the NEW grade 9 mentorship program
  • and much more.
