World Water Day

Eco team students as well as other primary students at St. John will be involved in a "Human Art Installation", which is aimed at creating awareness about our World's water issue, and how over 2 billion people on our planet have to spend all day walking to find water, and even once they've found it, very often it is contaminated water, but they have no other options but to use the contaminated water for their family. Part of the solution to this issue is to refrain supporting the somewhat recent trend to purchase water. Purchasing water turns it into a commodity, and creates a bigger problem for many people who do not have easy access to clean water, especially those who live in the southern hemisphere and/or developing countries.
