Community Clean-up at TCDSB
Students at St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School take “Community Clean-Up” very seriously. On April 22nd, 1400+ students and staff at the school spread out over the school’s property and surrounding neighbourhood to do their part in making the City look its best after the winter months. During the morning, CP24 reporter Bill Coulter broadcast live from the school site to showcase the school’s various environmental initiatives: e-waste collection, recycling, water bottle station and their energetic, informed Environmental Council.
This annual clean-up is just one small way that the school contributes to environmental education and call to action. The school is a Platinum-Certified EcoSchool.
