To develop a child as a whole and to promote success, there must be several components woven together. By providing excellent opportunities for spiritual, physical, emotional, and academic growth, children have the tools to become independent and empowered individuals of the future. This school provides a safe, inclusive and healthy environment for learning that is faith based. Thus, student success is measured by improved achievement in all areas of the curriculum as well as the child in his/her entirety.

Provincial Standards are the basis for the primary (grade 3) and junior (grade 6) assessments which take place at the end of the school year. The CAT tests are administered to grades 2, 5 and 7 each year around the same time. The grade 4 testing, OLSAT, is administered to all grade 4 students throughout the board mid winter. With the availability of the results, the data is interpreted and appropriate measures are taken to improve scores in this area. Planning is ongoing and teachers attend conferences and Hub meetings to help develop the best possible strategies for student success.
