Toronto Catholic District School Board

Religion and Family Studies Department

The Religious Education program at St. Joseph’s College School provides students with an opportunity to integrate gospel values in their daily lives. Through academic engagement, students deepen their awareness of their role as contributors to the Catholic community. Through their study of World Religions students develop an understanding of the importance of the exchange of ideas and cooperation between faiths. The St. Joseph’s community emphasizes the importance of spiritual and emotional growth through the participation in faith based retreats, such as volunteering at St. Francis Table. Through Family Studies Education, students are given the opportunity to learn how to express Catholic values within their personal and family lives.
